Yoga & Menstruation

Our moon cycle/period/flow (whatever you want to call it) is the natural time for us as women, to slow down each month.  So listen to it in your yoga practice, too!  Replace vigorous asana with meditative, restorative poses or skip practice altogether during the heaviest part of it.  It's up to each woman individually how they feel and what they like to do.  
How do you usually feel about practicing while menstruating?  Would love to know...
